Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is hiring a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 2) for a full-time role on a jobsite in Kermit, TX. You will perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on utility-scale solar facilities, with emphasis on safety and self-sufficiency in a dynamic environment.

You will diagnose electrical and PV system components, operate monitoring platforms, and document work with precision. On-site work and some travel are required, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational/technical training is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification and NFPA 70e safety training are required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% for training and site coverage.
• Clear and effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on solar facilities with minimal supervision.
• Test, diagnose, repair solar equipment and electrical systems.
• Accurately record time and materials; use Sprocket system for documentation.
• Provide on-call service at assigned solar facilities.
• Follow safety regulations and work procedures at all times.
