Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 2) for Tulia, TX to perform field maintenance, troubleshooting PV systems, and support site operations with minimal supervision.

Safety is paramount; the role requires OSHA 30 and NFPA 70e certifications, strong English communication, and a valid driver's license. This full-time, on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent; safety training is a plus.
• Ability to recognize hazards and apply proper tools and procedures.
• Identify energized/de-energized parts and safely de-energize sources.
• Basic electrical testing and troubleshooting equipment knowledge.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and operate system monitoring apps.

Responsibilities

• Perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on solar facilities with minimal supervision.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair solar equipment and systems.
• Utilize monitoring apps to diagnose issues and determine corrective actions.
• Accurately track time and materials; complete PM inspections via Sprocket.
• Maintain safety records and operate equipment safely; on-call as needed.
