Job summary

Silicon Ranch in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a Solar Maintenance Technician II – Field Operations to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PV facilities, including electrical and mechanical components, PV modules, PLCs, transformers, and related systems. The role requires on-site work and collaboration with the team to ensure reliable solar production.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical trade or related maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and is capable of working

Qualifications

Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
3+ years' experience in electrical trade or related maintenance.
Experience with MV/HV systems, IT, inverters, or substations is a plus.
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA70E, and OSHA standards.
Willingness to travel up to 2 hours each way.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
Perform corrective maintenance, scheduled and unscheduled, on the same scope.
Respond to emergency dispatches for critical systems as directed.
Log all work in the CMMS platform.
Conduct electrical testing with IV Curve Tracers, Power Quality Meters, insulation resistance testers, Multimeters, etc.
