Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking a Solar Maintenance Technician II – Field Operations to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across our solar facilities in the Little Rock area. The role focuses on inspection, troubleshooting, and remediation of electrical and mechanical components including PV modules, UPS, SCADA, and MV/HV systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical inclination, electrical maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer and electronics skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA70E, OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance at each facility for PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform corrective maintenance and respond to emergency directives as needed.
• Log work via the Silicon Ranch CMMS platform and conduct electrical testing with standard meters/tools.
• Assist with field investigations to support predictive analytics and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate site access for third-party contractors and support land and vegetation tasks.
