Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance on a full-time jobsite in Tulia, TX. The role begins as a contingent position with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

You will follow safe work practices, service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision, document work performed, and remain on call for emergency repairs. Travel up to 10% may be required; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Familiar with electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Able to perform Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Understanding of solar installation and plant operations.
• Proficient in basic testing equipment usage.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and follow safe work practices at all times.
• Operate and care for company property and tooling.
• Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
• Be available on-call for emergency repairs.
