Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance at a permanent site-based location in the U.S. relocation to a site may be required, with all relocation costs borne by the candidate.

This full-time role focuses on safety-first field service and basic solar equipment maintenance under supervision. Responsibilities include servicing solar equipment across multiple plants, learning monitoring programs, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification required.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Emphasizes safety as the top priority for all field work.
• Work safely under supervision; seek guidance when needed.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency repairs.
• Document work performed and prepare required reports.
• Assist in process improvements and coordinate with EPC management.
