Job summary

SunPower is seeking a Field Service Technician (Associate) to diagnose and repair residential solar systems remotely with local travel. You will be the primary on-site contact, ensuring installations meet codes and customer expectations.

A valid driver’s license, OSHA 10, and ability to lift heavy equipment are required. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Enphase and other inverters, scheduling tasks, and communicating with the corporate office for timely reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential solar installations.
• Familiarity with PV systems and troubleshooting Enphase inverters.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair existing solar systems.
• Schedule management to complete daily tasks.
• Prepare and submit job reports for each site visit.
• Turn on systems after installation and verify energization.
• Conduct site assessments using provided surveying tools.
• Coordinate with customers and office for efficient service.
