Job summary

IntelliPro seeks an experienced Project Engineer to support utility-scale solar construction projects across Virginia. This field-focused role coordinates with EPC contractors, internal teams, and permitting agencies to monitor progress, review technical deliverables, and ensure contract compliance.

Candidates should have 5-6+ years in engineering, a 4-year ABET-accredited degree, and prior Solar Field Engineer experience.

Qualifications

• 4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 5-6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience as Solar Field Engineer and utility-scale solar construction.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and 75%+ travel across Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Support the solar project management team with technical and engineering activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Project Controls, Technical Services, Environmental, Safety, Supply Chain, Operations).
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, permitting agencies, and Owner's Engineers.
• Participate in project status meetings and review EPC deliverables for contract compliance.
• Monitor construction progress, environmental and permit compliance, and turnover documentation.
