Job summary

Solar Solution DC is seeking a dependable Solar Maintenance Crew Member in the Washington, DC area to inspect, maintain, and repair solar energy systems on residential and commercial sites. You will work from rooftops and ladders, using drills and fastening tools, while following safety protocols and recording work details.

We value reliability, safety, and the ability to work both independently and with a team on dynamic job sites.

Qualifications

• Punctual and reliable with a strong safety mindset.
• Comfortable working at heights on roofs and ladders.
• Proficient with hand and power tools, including drills.
• Hold a valid license as required for this position.
• Experience in solar, construction, roofing, or related trades preferred.
• Able to lift and carry equipment as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on solar energy systems
• Use hand and power tools, including drills, to complete fastening, mounting, and repair work
• Work safely and confidently on roofs and ladders for extended periods
• Diagnose and address basic system issues, escalating more complex electrical work as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and site procedures without exception
• Maintain accurate records of work performed at each job site
• Keep company vehicles, tools,and equipment in proper working condition
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members while on site
