Job summary

Construction Innovations is seeking an Estimating and Preconstruction Manager to coordinate pre-award design support and prepare cost estimates for utility-scale solar projects. You will work with sales, design, and manufacturing teams to submit competitive quotes and drive revenue opportunities.

The role requires strong leadership, technical presentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids while aligning with the company’s QMS standards. Sacramento/Mather area access is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field is required.
• 7+ years of relevant and similar experience in utility-scale PV, electrical construction, or related industries.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and create customer-facing documentation and presentations during the preconstruction phase.
• Lead preconstruction meetings with clients to communicate design philosophies and maximize value.
• Drive feedback to estimating to improve competitiveness and bid accuracy.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure timely, quality proposals and collateral.
