Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in a technical discipline accepted.
• Two+ years machine or mechanic experience as primary function.
• One year First Solar technical experience acceptable.
• Six months EMT experience at First Solar with rating 5+ in EMT categories.

Responsibilities

• Solves day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
• Performs on-site service and repair of equipment.
• Identifies and implements yield and product performance improvements.
• Completes daily assignments as scheduled and directed.
• Develops methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
• Sets up and maintains gauges.
• Ensures all processes run on target per Process Control Plan.
• Responds to SPC alarms and restores control.
