• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in a technical discipline preferred.
• Two+ years machine or mechanic experience as a primary function.
• One year First Solar technical experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Solves day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
• Identifies and implements yield and product performance improvements.
• Develops methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
• Set up and maintains gauges.
• Ensures all processes run on target per the Process Control Plan.
• Responds to SPC process control alarms and restores control.
• Executes planned process experiments, collects data and reports results.
• Collects data on daily tool performance and product performance.
• Provides training to production associates.
• Develops and updates internal documentation including drawings and SOPs.
• Interfaces with internal associates and supplier reps to complete projects.
• Develops understanding of area processes, equipment, and support systems.
• Maintains communication with production associates and manufacturing engineers.
• Disposes non-conforming product per established criteria (NCP).
• Adheres to safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Ensures waste materials are discarded correctly and hazardous waste containers stay closed.
• Wears PPE as required and can wear a respirator if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
