Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks an Estimating Manager (Solar) to lead large EPC estimates and oversee an estimating team across Fargo, Indianapolis, Clinton, Centennial, or Phoenix. Onsite role, coordinating with project teams and executives to deliver high-quality bid packages.

The role requires 7+ years in construction estimating, a degree in Engineering/Construction Management, and the ability to mentor staff while ensuring compliance with standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and EPC delivery.
• Ability to independently lead estimates and manage scope, quantities, pricing.
• Experience leading bids and coordinating estimating resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects.
• Serve as Lead Estimator on pursuits; define scope, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate Estimator I-III resources and ensure timely, accurate estimates.
• Ensure compliance with RFPs, internal standards, and review processes.
• Mentor junior staff and support bid turnover to execution teams.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
