Job summary

CMTA's Energy Solutions division in Baltimore is looking for an energetic individual to join their team. This position involves designing, bidding, project managing, and commissioning innovative solar PV, battery, and EV charging systems for a variety of clients.

The ideal candidate will have 0-3+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related disciplines, familiarity with design tools like Revit/AutoCAD, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-3+ years of experience in relevant field.
• Ability to develop, read, and discuss single line diagrams.
• Familiarity with SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius, and related inverter products.

Responsibilities

• Design solar PV, battery, and EV charging systems.
• Bid on projects and manage project construction.
• Commission and troubleshoot installed systems.

Skills

Experience with Revit/AutoCAD

Electrical engineering knowledge

Responsibilities

• Design solar PV, battery, and EV charging systems.
• Bid on projects.
• Project manage construction, including scheduling and budget.
• Commission and troubleshoot installed systems.

Qualifications

• 0-3+ years of experience.
• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD (preferred).
• Electrical engineering knowledge: develop, read, and discuss single line diagrams for PV systems.
• Energy modeling: Real Power, Reactive Power & Apparent Power.
• Solar: grid‑tied PV systems and components (preferred).
• Power Distribution: 3‑phase power systems (preferred).
• Construction: basic understanding of project management, workflows, and deadlines.
• Design: familiarity with SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius, and other inverter products (preferred).

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred).
