Job summary

CMTA, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual for the Energy Solutions division to design, bid, project manage, and commission solar PV, battery, and EV charging systems. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 0-3+ years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate has a technical background, enjoys helping clients, and may have skills in Revit/AutoCAD and knowledge of energy concepts.

Qualifications

• 0-3+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to discuss single-line diagrams for PV systems.
• Basic understanding of project management and construction.

Responsibilities

• Design, bid, project manage, and commission solar PV, battery, and EV charging systems.
• Work with a team of engineers on various projects.

The Energy Solutions division of CMTA is the fastest growing division of our large and growing company. This position will work with a team of engineers to design, bid, project manage, and commission solar PV, battery and EV charging systems for various clients of CMTA. Our ideal candidate is typically a self‑motivated individual who thrives on helping clients and has a technical background.

Desired Experience

• 0-3+ years of experience

Desired Skills

• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD is preferred but not required
• Electrical engineering – ability to develop, read and discuss single‑line diagrams for PV systems is preferred, but not required
• Energy (Real Power, Reactive Power & Apparent Power)
• Solar – knowledge of grid‑tied PV systems & associated components is preferred, but not required
• Power Distribution – knowledge of 3‑Phase Power Systems is preferred, but not required
• Construction – basic understanding of project management, project flow & deadlines
• Design – familiarity with SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius & other inverter products is preferred, but not required
