Job summary

Legence Corp. in Austin, Texas seeks a self-motivated engineer to join our Energy Solutions division. In this role, you will work with a team to design and manage solar PV systems, battery installations, and EV charging solutions for diverse clients. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and relevant skills, along with a drive to help our clients.

Knowledge of grid tied PV systems & associated components

Knowledge of 3-Phase Power Systems

Basic understanding of project management, project flow & deadlines

Familiarity with SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius & other inverter products

The Energy Solutions division of CMTA is the fastest growing division of our large and growing company. This position will work with a team of engineers to design, bid, project manage, and commission solar PV, battery and EV charging systems for various clients of CMTA. Our ideal candidate is typically a self‑motivated individual who thrives on helping clients and has a technical background.

Desired Experience

• 0‑3+ years of experience

Desired Skills

• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
• Electrical engineering – Ability to develop, read and discuss single line diagrams for PV systems is preferred, but not required.
• Solar – Knowledge of grid tied PV systems & associated components is preferred, but not required.
• Power Distribution – Knowledge of 3‑Phase Power Systems is preferred, but not required.
• Construction – Basic understanding of project management, project flow & deadlines.
• Design – Familiarity with SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius & other inverter products is preferred, but not required.

Desired Education
