Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Electrical Superintendent to lead and coordinate the electrical craft activities on utility-scale solar sites, with extensive multi-state travel. You will oversee forepersons, contractors, and crews, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality per drawings and specifications.

Key duties include coordinating with engineering, estimating, and planning teams, managing labor budgets, and enforcing safety programs across projects.

Qualifications

• Must have OSHA30 and safety leadership demeanor.
• Electrical field installation experience on solar or heavy industrial sites required.
• Self-perform solar construction experience is highly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in power/industrial construction.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise 50+ employees.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and drawings interpretation skills.
• Contract coordination and site coordination with subcontractors required.
• 4-5 years as General Foreman or 3 years as Superintendent in single discipline on industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate crafts, equipment, and schedules.
• Coordinate electrical work with other crafts and departments on site.
• Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to align with drawings and schedule.
• Support problem resolution and productivity improvements.
• Monitor safety program compliance and document corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering for materials and inspections.
• Delegate responsibilities and ensure completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
