Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical craft activities on utility-scale solar projects across multiple states. You will coordinate forepersons, contractors, and crews, manage schedules, material quantities, and safety compliance, and travel as needed.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years as a General Foreman or 3 years as a Superintendent in industrial construction, with OSHA 30 and proven ability to supervise 50+ employees.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 required and safety first leadership.
• Electrical field installation experience in solar/industrial environments.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in power/industrial construction.
• Ability to supervise 50+ employees and manage schedules.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and design specs.
• Experience with project coordination of subcontractors and materials.
• Willingness to travel across multiple states.
• Previously worked as General Foreman or Superintendent in a single discipline for 4–5 years.
• Eagerness to learn new techniques and skillsets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate electrical craft activities across the site.
• Coordinate electrical work with other crafts, departments, and subcontractors.
• Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure drawings and schedules are followed.
• Assist in resolving construction problems and productivity issues.
• Monitor safety program compliance and enforce corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Material Control, Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering to ensure material and inspections support the schedule.
• Delegate duties and ensure proper completion; perform other duties as assigned.
