Job summary

Moss is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Solar Electrical in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will oversee project schedules, procurement, and materials management on solar projects, coordinating with Electrical Self-Perform and Procurement to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include budget creation, subcontract buyout, invoicing oversight, and maintaining CMiC records, while promoting Moss’s safety culture and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is required.
• Strong finance/accounting knowledge is expected.
• Experience with scheduling and forecasting is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Electrical Self-Perform and Procurement to support safety, design, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Manage warehousing, inventory, and relate journal entries with Accounting.
• Ensure correct materials arrive on site on time; monitor delivery logs and reports.
• Serve as primary communicator for all Electrical functions on the project.
• Uphold Moss safety culture and provide clear processes and tools.
• Assist with owner contract management, deliverables, notices, and costs/change orders.
• Create and upload Electrical budgets into CMiC; use estimates as budget basis.
• Oversee buyout of electrical subcontracts and vendor agreements, prioritizing schedule.
• Assist with project schedules and updates; coordinate with Scheduling.
