Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Project Manager to serve as the primary on-site administrator coordinating with Owners, Architects and Subcontractors to ensure quality, schedule and budget compliance. The role drives preconstruction execution, contract administration, and safety programs on multi-site solar projects.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, 4+ years of Solar/EPC PM experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to guide

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Solar/EPC construction.
  • Strong computer skills including construction project management applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with owners' representatives, A/E teams, and authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage preconstruction and GMP/Lump Sum contracts from owner expectations.
  • Negotiate owner contracts and coordinate with design teams and owners.
  • Identify key subcontractors and manage pre-bid activities and value engineering.
  • Develop bid packages, schedules, and site utilization plans; conduct pre-bid conferences.
  • Oversee project financials: budgets, cash flow, cost control, and reporting.
  • Manage change orders, risk and safety programs, and insurance/bond compliance.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, look-ahead schedules, and resource loading.
  • Recruit and develop field staff; ensure team performance and morale.
  • Administer document control (RFI, submittals) and month-end reporting.
