Resonant Energy is seeking a Solar Design Manager to drive electrical design for rooftop, ground-mounted, and canopy solar projects supporting nonprofits and affordable housing. You will create NEC-compliant drawings and specs, coordinate with engineers, and support interconnection and construction from concept through completion.

This hybrid role blends hands-on design with cross-functional collaboration, requiring AutoCAD, Scanifly, Aurora, and strong communication to mentor Project Managers

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or comparable industry experience.
• 2+ years of solar PV and/or BESS electrical design and engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of NEC, building code, and fire code as applied to solar PV or battery energy storage systems.
• Preferred: NABCEP certificate; Drone pilot’s license and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design PV layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and system specifications.
• Draft comprehensive PV system engineering plan-sets using AutoCAD; develop layouts.
• Coordinate with third-party engineers and manufacturers for final design deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, building code, and AHJ requirements across projects.
• Provide design-related inputs and cost estimates during project development and construction.
