Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a dedicated and physically capable Laborer to support our solar farm construction projects. This non-driving role involves manual labor and assistance with various tasks essential for project completion.

Responsibilities include unloading, sorting, staging materials, site cleanup, and assisting skilled tradespeople. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Construction or general labor experience is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading, sorting, and staging of materials and equipment on job sites.
• Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal, waste disposal, and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Support skilled tradespeople by carrying tools, materials, and following instructions.
• Dig trenches, post holes, and foundations by hand or with hand tools.
• Perform basic assembly of components under supervision.
• Operate small hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., drills, grinders, shovels, rakes).
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers.
