Job summary

Green Water and Power, established in California, is expanding its solar portfolio with a Business Development Associate/Client Account Manager role. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with landowners and commercial clients, and close complex solar transactions.

You will originate and close C&I solar projects, manage O&M opportunities, and stay informed on incentives, financing, and regulatory requirements. Travel is required and Salesforce experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of business development and client account management experience in renewable energy or related industries.
• Excellent client-facing communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Highly self-motivated and results-driven.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Close deals with existing customers by building ongoing relationships and tailored proposals.
• Originate and close C&I solar projects by identifying and engaging potential customers.
• Generate leads and convert prospects into clients for O&M contracts.
• Maintain understanding of solar incentives, financing structures, permitting processes, and regulations.
• Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and industry events.
• Track and manage opportunities using Salesforce with timely follow-ups.
