Job summary

Sun Light & Power seeks a Commercial Solar Retrofit Project Developer to build a new commercial solar business pipeline in Northern California, managing customers from inception to after-sale. The role requires rapport with clients and knowledge of solar energy solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in forecasting, financing options (PPA/loans/Tax Credits/MACRS), and travel across the Bay Area to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of sales experience generating, closing and meeting targets in the commercial solar market.
• Knowledge of the Northern California commercial solar market.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments of qualified potential customers’ business and solar energy needs.
• Implement objectives, energy usage, incentives, and financing options to develop cost-effective solar energy solutions.
• Manage customer relationships from inception to close and after sale.
• Build and manage a retrofit commercial solar sales pipeline; maintain relationship beyond close of sale.
• Enter complete daily activity details into internal software.
• Learn internal processes and procedures.
