Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is hiring an Electrical Estimator to develop accurate estimates for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects while improving processes and tools to support competitive execution. This role is ideally based in Scottsdale, AZ or Bedminster, NJ, with remote options available within the U.S.

Candidate experience includes 5+ years in electrical estimating for renewable energy, proficiency with Accubid/InEight/Bluebeam, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Experience in large electrical commercial, renewable energy, utility-scale solar construction or related fields.
• Knowledge of cost estimating best practices and estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Refine estimating processes and templates for solar PV and BESS construction.
• Develop and maintain project cost estimates from concept to design packages.
• Maintain database of means, methods, components, and productivity rates.
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, procurement, operations and project delivery to optimize costs.
