Job summary

Otovo SRL is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial solar energy systems, battery storage solutions, and generators in the Yuma, AZ area. The role emphasizes hands-on electrical work, problem solving, and delivering excellent customer service on-site.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of electrical experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read schematics, use diagnostic equipment, and perform preventive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of electrical experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Knowledge of NEC/AHJ requirements and interconnection rules.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and climb ladders.
• Willingness to travel locally and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning, wiring inspections, inverter testing, and battery health checks.
• Commission new systems and upgrades per NEC/AHJ and utility requirements.
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and thermal imaging.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE, lockout/tagout and fall protection.
• Respond to emergency service calls and warranty repairs.
• Communicate status and recommendations to customers.
