Job summary

Lightsource bp is seeking an Asset Manager to maximize financial and operational performance for a portfolio of utility-scale solar assets. You’ll coordinate across internal teams and external partners to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with contractual obligations.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics while driving value through commercial negotiations and risk management.

Qualifications

Understanding of utility-scale solar PV systems and performance analytics.
Experience with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and tax equity/debt compliance.
Knowledge of PPAs, interconnection, and EPC contracts.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration.
3+ years in Asset Management or Operations, renewables preferred.

Responsibilities

Own full P&L for the asset portfolio, including monthly variance analysis and cost control.
Manage tax equity investor relationships and reporting requirements.
Oversee debt compliance, liquidity forecasting and debt service monitoring.
Coordinate audits, tax return prep, and investor reporting with accounting and legal teams.
Lead commercial negotiations and enforce contractual obligations (PPAs, interconnections, leases).
Oversee daily asset operations, safety, and regulatory compliance across the portfolio.
