Job summary

Altus Power, Inc. seeks a Technical Asset Manager to drive technical performance and financial optimization of solar assets across the portfolio. You will own asset health, production trends, and O&M effectiveness while coordinating with operations, engineering, and finance.

The TAM will manage Capex scoping, vendor selections, and contract reviews, ensuring successful execution and risk mitigation. Collaboration with Field Operations and Performance teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in commercial & industrial solar or renewable energy asset management.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent
• Experience managing OEM and vendor relationships, warranty claims, and technical issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asset performance, reliability, and production trends for the portfolio.
• Lead Capex scoping, bid management, and vendor coordination within budget.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and finance to meet portfolio objectives.
• Drive maintenance strategies and OEM relations to improve long-term asset value.
• Provide technical input for budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
