Job summary

Soltage, a leader in renewable energy asset management, seeks an Asset Manager to independently own day-to-day workstreams for solar and storage projects. You will monitor performance, manage budgets, and provide data-driven insights to optimize portfolio value.

The role involves proactive risk/opportunity identification, cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, and development, and mentoring junior staff. Hybrid work from Jersey City, NJ is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in asset management or project finance.
• Working knowledge of electricity markets and tax equity structures.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance across multiple states and ensure financial/operational targets are met.
• Own day-to-day asset management workstreams from start to finish, including reporting and budgeting.
• Generate, review, and validate asset data for consistent reporting outputs.
• Analyze asset performance data and present insights to support decision-making.
• Develop budgets, track variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed operational and financial records and manage counterparty relationships.
