Job summary

Lightsource BP in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Solar Asset Manager for a hybrid role across Austin, Denver, or San Francisco. You will maximize the financial and operational performance of a portfolio of utility-scale solar assets, coordinating with internal teams, service providers, and external stakeholders.

You will own P&L oversight, manage tax equity relationships, and drive value through contract management and performance analysis. A 3–5 year background in asset management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Understanding of utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Proficient in financial management of energy assets, including budgeting, P&L analysis, cash flow forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Maximize financial and operational performance of a portfolio of utility-scale solar assets.
• Coordinate across internal teams, third-party service providers, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure projects operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all obligations.
• Lead financial oversight: P&L ownership, revenue tracking, and cost control.
• Manage tax equity investor relationships and reporting requirements.
• Oversee debt compliance, liquidity forecasting, and debt service monitoring.
• Lead commercial negotiations and amendments, renewals, and new agreements.
• Track and enforce compliance with PPAs, interconnection, land leases, and merchant revenue.
