Qualifications

• Forklift operating experience in a manufacturing/production/warehouse setting.
• Experience with heavy equipment or material-handling machinery.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and accurate data entry.
• Comfort using touchscreen devices and electronical interfaces in production.
• Inventory control or cycle counting experience preferred.
• Ability to count and monitor inventory and report shortages.
• Ability to lift 50-pound bags and work around forklifts safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Crew Leader with preparing soil loads according to production schedules and requirements.
• Operate cranes and material-handling equipment to fill fertilizer hoppers.
• Collect and label soil samples for lab testing and quality control.
• Learn and operate automated control panels and enter soil recipes.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintain soil-processing equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate equipment issues or production concerns to leadership.
• Perform additional production and material handling duties as assigned.
