Job summary

Doman Tucker Lumber Companies LLC is seeking an experienced forklift operator at our Middleburg, NC plant. This role focuses on locating, moving, stacking, and tracking heavy materials while safely meeting production schedules and quality standards.

The position involves outdoor work, operating heavy machinery, and collaborating with a team to load/unload materials and support customers across the East Coast. Prior forklift and safety-conscious experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to lift 20 to 40 lbs.
• Proven experience with heavy machinery.
• Must work outdoors.
• Strong mechanical testing and implementation capabilities.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting regularly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, check, and load products to/from designated areas in the facility, as well as on and off trailers.
• Stack loads in correct storage bays per inventory instructions.
• Complete forms and handle documentation.
• Inspect machinery to determine repairs as needed and perform regular maintenance for safety.
• Keep accurate production records and report issues.
• Stock rotation and loading/unloading trucks.
