Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a forklift operator to operate forklifts and front end loaders in a manufacturing setting in Greensboro, NC. This role requires adherence to safety policies and the ability to move materials, stock inventory, and prepare items for shipment.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, material handling, labeling, quality checks, and completing daily paperwork. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 70 lbs; forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read loading slips and manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to move product into inventory/onto and off truck.
• Operate loaders to keep production line stocked with raw materials.
• Ensure proper rotation and placement of finished goods.
• Properly label product and package product for inventory.
• Ensure packaged quantities are correct and quality is up to standards.
• Load trucks with finished product for delivery.
• Before loading product for shipment ensure packaging and pallet are safe and adequate for shipment.
• Complete daily paperwork including inspection reports for equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
