Job summary

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Three years of forklift experience required.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities that can translate into efficient operation.
• Working knowledge of layouts, production specifications and product quality specifications.
• Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
• Ability to use warehouse scanners

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for forklift in a safe manner.
• Complete forklift inspections before shift and on new forklifts; report repairs.
• Locate stock before starting run and adhere to production schedule.
• Deliver stock to machines safely and on time.
• Complete paperwork and reports accurately and timely (Production Data, Machine Status, Safety, Quality).
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
