Job summary

METROLINA GREENHOUSES LLC in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Forklift Driver to operate a sit-down forklift, load and unload trucks, and move materials within the distribution center of the greenhouse, in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of forklift experience, knowledge of basic hand and power tools, be proficient with RF scanners, and maintain excellent hand-eye coordination while supporting inventory control and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ forklift experience.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Proficient in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from delivery trucks.
• Transport materials to different locations within the facility.
• Constant movement of material on pallets throughout the greenhouse.
• Stack product in the correct locations, following inventory control instructions.
• Update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Assist with soil production.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
