New Balance is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our flagship Soho location to support sales goals and operations. You will help hire, train, and develop staff while leading the team in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

The role requires 2+ years in retail, familiarity with POS systems, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. You’ll contribute to a culture of integrity and teamwork at NYC’s premier shop.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ retail experience required.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of retail operations and loss prevention.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a "Total Customer Satisfaction" culture.
• Help Store Manager hit financial and operational goals.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and District Manager on sales plans.
• Coach and develop staff; their success = yours.
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities to build the brand in communities.
• Assist with payroll and writing schedules for store associates.
• Lead the team in the Store Manager's absence.
