Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior Interiors software transformation leader to define and drive a multi-year roadmap aligning with enterprise initiatives. You will lead cross-team efforts across software groups, migrate legacy environments to modern toolchains, and ensure DO-178B/DO-178C compliance while maintaining productivity and certifiability.

You will act as the primary technical liaison between Interiors software teams and corporate IT initiatives, while mentoring engineers and delivering training

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 10+ years experience or advanced degree with 8+ years.
• Experience leading cross-team process/tool transformations including SCM and CI/CD migrations.
• Hands-on with Git-based workflows and DevOps toolchains (GitLab, Artifactory).
• Ability to influence and lead without direct authority in a complex, multi-site environment.
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to business impact.

Responsibilities

• Define a clear software development vision for Interiors aligned with enterprise initiatives.
• Assess tools, processes, and practices across software groups to identify gaps and best practices.
• Develop a multi-year transformation roadmap to standardize and modernize software practices.
• Lead migration from legacy build environments to preferred toolchain.
• Plan migrations to minimize disruption and support parallel operation.
• Collaborate with QA and Certification teams to ensure DO-178B/DO-178C compliance and lifecycle data updates.
• Serve as technical liaison between Interiors software teams and corporate IT DevSecOps initiatives.
• Support capability development of software engineers and enable adoption of new methods.
• Provide training, documentation, and onboarding materials while maintaining productivity.
