Job summary

Columbia, MD-based Software Test Engineer role requires an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance to support full‑lifecycle testing of mission‑critical systems. You will design test plans, build automated test suites in Python, and validate Linux and Windows environments.

Collaborate with development teams to track defects, run I&T and acceptance tests, and ensure software quality with code coverage tools. Eligible candidates include a Bachelor’s with 6+ years, a Master’s with 4+ years, or 10

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience in software test engineering.
• Four-year Master’s with 4+ years experience or 10 years experience without a degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, automated test suites, and testing workflows.
• Configure and maintain dedicated test environments and automated testing infrastructure.
• Perform Integration & Testing (I&T) and Acceptance Testing activities to ensure adherence to requirements.
• Develop automated test scripts and capabilities using Python.
• Execute performance, load, stress, interface, and security testing using code coverage tools.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux (UNIX) and Windows operating systems and test applications.
• Document detailed test results and track defects through resolution.
