Job summary

Akina, Inc. in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Senior Test Engineer to support software development and full life cycle testing of mission systems. You will design, develop, and maintain test plans, cases, processes, and automation.

You will perform integration and acceptance testing and report issues through resolution. Required TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; 6 years of STE experience; Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years, and 4 additional years

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience as a STE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• A Master's degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
• Four (4) years of additional Test Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a degree.
• Knowledge of test automation using Python, performance/load testing, data interface testing, user interface testing, security testing, code coverage tools, and systems integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Support software development and full life cycle testing of mission systems including design, development, and maintenance of test plans/cases/processes.
• Create and maintain test environments and automated test capabilities.
• Perform Integration & Testing and Acceptance Testing and report problems through resolution.
