Job summary

Legato is seeking a Test Engineer to work at our Annapolis Junction location. This role will involve working closely with software and devops engineers in a high temp environment where analyzing system requirements and developing evaluation plans is key.

The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of experience and a bachelor's degree in a related discipline. A strong skill set in automated testing and familiarity with multiple testing methodologies is essential. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including health care and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with at least eight years of experience.
• Experience working with JUNIT and Mockito.
• Automated testing experience with 3rd party tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and develop test plans.
• Conduct data collection and analysis, report status.
• Support development of test documentation and strategies.

Skills

Self-starter

Experience with JUNIT and Mockito

Automated testing with Python, Java, bash

Experience in multiple testing methodologies

Drafting testing documentation/artifacts

Familiarity with AWS and Linux

Understanding of data ingest process

Familiarity with Niagara Files

Familiarity with JSON, CSV, XML
