Job summary

BCT LLC is seeking a Test Engineer with an active TS/SCI with POLY in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on designing testing postures and automated frameworks across hardware and software domains, enabling other test teams and driving testing improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Python/Java/C, Linux, and automated test framework development, and will collaborate in agile teams to deliver meaningful solutions for national security missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of testing experience; if degree is not STEM, add 5 years of testing experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C; Linux/Unix CLI; designing automated test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to understand project requirements and user stories.
• Design testing postures/frameworks at macro level and support micro level testing activities.
• Develop automated test frameworks for applications and REST APIs; create test cases.
• Identify, analyze and report defects; verify fixes and track issues to resolution.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to supplement automated efforts; participate in scrums.
