RTX is seeking a software-focused engineer for the Test Solutions Engineering team in Tucson, AZ. You will help architect and build software for mission-critical defense systems, interfacing with hardware and supporting the product lifecycle from lab demos to production testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required by start date.
• Experience developing, testing, or integrating software in Windows using Visual Studio.
• Experience may be gained through work, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and integrate OO software applications and test software for Windows.
• Develop system-level software requirements, specs, and architectures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software for test accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, and mechanical engineers to integrate tools with hardware.
• Participate in design reviews, code peer reviews, and defect resolution.
• Work within Agile and Waterfall lifecycles.
