Position Overview

The objective of this effort is to provide software-agnostic field support for forward-deployed users of operational, advanced analytic intelligence support, and technical and analytical mission planning and execution systems support. Field services include engineering and technical administration, embedded data services, and analytical support and mentorship for workflow development, data source integration, and expert utilization of multiple software capabilities to solve information challenges, including those that are mission critical. The services will take place across the SIE, including Tactical Local Area Networks and other Department of Defense military hardware and End User Devices. The scope encompasses the SOF Enterprise, defined as Headquarters United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Marine Corps MARSOC, and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).

This position is contingent upon the award of a SOCOM contract. Work is expected to begin in mid-2025.

Qualifications

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Tactical Support Engineer - Senior: Fort Liberty, NC

• Will have all the qualifications as the Tactical Support Engineers.
• Minimum of seven (7) years operational experience supporting navigation and mission planning techniques, including preparation and checkout of flight plans for aircraft weapons systems or mission planning computer systems, communications, mission equipment, and planning techniques, including preparation of unit mission plans for peacetime and wartime special operations missions.
• Specific experience in the following areas/programs depending on the assigned component:
• - DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or higher certification (e.g., Security+)
• - Customer-specific planning & execution software applications

All candidates must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance with TS Eligibility. Some locations require TS/SCI clearance.
