Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Software Systems Engineer III skilled in object-oriented design and in live-virtual-constructive simulation for aircraft avionics to MIL-STD-1153 and MIL-STD-1773. You will manage software and system projects and guide technical staff at China Lake.

The ideal candidate has strong C++, C, and Python 3 programming experience, familiarity with Git and Red Hat Linux, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Top Secret clearance. This is an on-site role with US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years related experience or higher degrees.
• Experience with software engineering lifecycles and system engineering.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise team and project managers on technical problems.
• Interact with customers and project managers regularly.
• Work independently on highly complex projects.
• Develop designs for system/software and associated design documentation.
• Prepare and conduct design reviews; implement design.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, and system testing.
