Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Software Engineering Program Manager for the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) team. The role leads quality across cross-functional software development, collaborating with engineering, regulatory, clinical, and operations to ensure lifecycle quality and compliant software releases.

It is based in Mounds View, MN, with on-site collaboration and limited travel. Ideal candidates have a strong background in software quality, embedded systems, and experience navigating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math and minimum of 5 years of technical work experience.
• Advanced degree with 3 years of technical experience is also eligible.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Quality representative on cross-functional software product development teams, partnering with engineering, regulatory, clinical, and operations stakeholders.
• Ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Lead design controls, risk management, verification and validation activities, cybersecurity, defect management, and product release decisions.
• Collaborate with Quality Systems, Regulatory, and functional stakeholders to evolve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Communicate program status and risks to Core Team Leaders and stakeholders; drive quality improvements.
