Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math and minimum of 5 years of technical work experience OR advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, or math, with 3 years of technical experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading software development projects within Med-Tech industry.
• Strong understanding of software and embedded systems.
• High level communication skills with ability to impact and influence at various altitudes.
• Creativity and change management to support rapidly changing medical technology.
• Track record delivering projects in a matrix environment.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
• Vendor management experience.
• Experience as a Scrum Master and PMP certification.
• Experience in regulated environments and delivering products in compliance with global standards.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and plan programs including requirements, work plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
• Own execution against an aggressive but achievable plan and guide team members.
• Collaborate with Core Team Leaders to drive program within scope, cost, and schedule.
• Lead teams of employees and vendors to deliver commitments.
• Communicate program status and issues to stakeholders regularly.
• Proactively manage quality, risks, and issues across the program.
• Lead Scrum events and coordinate with pre-market teams for sprints.
• Interface with Quality, Regulatory, and leadership to ensure compliance.
