Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a software process engineer to develop and optimize software development processes across multiple teams. You will ensure compliance with aerospace standards and provide technical direction for process improvements.

The role supports hybrid work arrangements with on-site collaboration and remote work after a ramp-up period, reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 2+ years of experience with supporting software engineering efforts from development or process perspective
• Experience with structured software development processes and tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize software development processes to improve quality, efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process design into development operations across multiple development teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance product quality.
• Ensure compliance with software development principles, Honeywell Aerospace processes, data driven quality analysis & compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and direction for software development processes.
• Conduct process deployment, evaluation, and analyses to identify areas for improvement (CPI).
• Document process designs, specifications, and procedures.
