Job description

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an immediate need for an experienced Software Integration Engineer IV (SIE IV) for a new customer on a strategic High-Performance Computing (HPC) program. The SIE IV should be a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, good judgment, and the ability to work within a team to mature the HPC capabilities of our customer.

Locations:

These positions are onsite. Candidates need to be located near Annapolis, MD, or Saratoga Springs, UT, to be considered.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Provide customer support for HPC software to enable High Performance Computers to continue to run in operations, supporting UNIX, LINUX, Windows Systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required for the mission.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
2. IAT Level II Certification is required. Accepted certifications include RHCSA or higher Red Hat certification, and/or VMWare certification.
3. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with twelve (12) years of experience in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous OS environment, or a master’s degree with ten (10) years of experience.
4. Alternatively, without a degree, at least five (5) years of full-time computer science experience and ten (10) years of relevant software support experience are required. Industry-recognized professional certifications may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
5. Proficiency with the following:

• Object-Oriented Programming Languages (C, C++, Java)
• Python Programming
• GCC compiler
• Multi-threaded software
• Working knowledge of HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software
