We are seeking a senior Human Systems Integration Engineer to support our Washington, DC office. Candidate will provide analysis and design support across human factors engineering, manpower, training, safety, survivability, and habitability to optimize human performance and total system effectiveness. Work will focus on reducing system ownership costs while enhancing mission capability.
Provide integrated and comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of requirements, concepts, and resources for human factors engineering, manpower, personnel, training, safety and occupational health, force protection and survivability, and habitability.
Ensure human performance is optimized to increase total system performance and minimize total system ownership costs
Required skills:
Bachelor's degree
10 years - 15 years of relevant experience
Relevant Human Systems Integration (HIS) engineering experience related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs.
Must have active DoD Top Secret Clearance and ability to sustain one
Preferred skills:
Master's level degree in engineering, physical science, or mathematics or a related field
Professional Engineer License
15 or more years of relevant experience
Relevant Human Systems Integration (HIS) engineering experience related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.
This position is contingent upon contract award
Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $85,000 - $150,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
