Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified Software Support Engineer to provide advanced KNAPP product support to 2nd Level teams, ensuring stable warehouse operations and effective incident handling.

You will analyze logs, plan changes, coordinate implementations, and maintain documentation, while collaborating with development, service desk, and customers. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience are required; knowledge of Linux, Java or C++, and QA processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field; equivalent education or experience considered.
• 2+ years with complex software systems: configuration, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and user support.
• Strong technical aptitude to learn KNAPP architectures and environments.
• Experience with software implementation, system integration and technical support.
• Understanding of SDLC, QA and Problem Management.
• Advanced knowledge: Linux, databases, query crafting, trace and log analysis, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced KNAPP software support to 2nd Level teams.
• Analyze logs and system behavior for root‑cause analysis.
• Analyze requirements and specs for software changes.
• Design, plan and implement software changes including configurations and bug fixes.
• Coordinate software implementations with on-site resources, service desk teams, customers and internal teams.
• Perform and coordinate quality assurance to ensure functionality and stability.
• Create and execute changes (RfCs) per established processes.
• Maintain documentation of specifications, test results and changes.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and provide updates.
• Collaborate with software development, project teams, service desk and delivery teams.
• Train new KNAPP Software Engineers and customers on relevant software functionality and best practices.
